Printing
Taleem prints and binds from a print-ready PDF, in the page size, binding, colour and quantity you choose, then delivers the boxed copies to the address on the order.
Printing starts with a print-ready PDF. If we designed the book, that file is the one we produced. If you prepared it elsewhere, send it — we check that it opens cleanly, that the pages are the right size, and that the fonts and images are embedded before quoting.

What we need from you
- A print-ready PDF, with bleed if the book has colour to the edge of the page.
- The page size, binding, colour and quantity you want.
- A delivery address and a phone number for the courier.
Paper and cover stock
Paper is chosen with the quote. Heavier stock suits a book that will be handled daily; lighter stock keeps a long run within budget. Cover stock is matched to the binding, since a hardcover and a perfect-bound book do not use the same board.
If the file is not print-ready yet
Most manuscripts are not. Start with book design: the design and print phases are quoted together when you order both, and the file that leaves the design stage is the file that goes to the press. Word, Publisher, InDesign and PDF files all go through that step — none of them has to arrive print-ready.
If the only thing missing is the cover, cover design can be ordered on its own, at the lowest price on the list.
Sending large files
Upload what fits in the order form. If a file is larger than the form accepts, send a Google Drive or WeTransfer link in the same form and we will download it from there.
